Disturbing moment when police officer repeatedly punches driver through his window after three-car collision

Disturbing footage shows a police officer repeatedly punching an “aggressive” driver in the face after the driver collided with a roadblock.
The shocking incident occurred along Gympie Rd, Strathpine in Brisbane’s north at around 1:45pm on Wednesday.
The emergency services rushed to the scene, where two other cars were hit.
A video posted to social media shows a police officer arriving and talking to the driver for a short while before punching him multiple times through an open window.
In the images, the motorist appears to be resisting the officer as he hangs out of the window.

Another video filmed shortly after shows the officer groping the man.
A Queensland Police spokesman told Daily Mail Australia they are investigating the incident and an assessment is underway.
They also stated that the driver became “aggressive” towards the officer.
Upon arrival, officers will claim they were confronted by an aggressive driver of one of the vehicles. Police were forced to use a taser and physical force to take him into custody,” a Queensland Police spokesman said.
“The man has been taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for examination.”
Witnesses say the driver was holding a bottle of wine prior to the altercation, according to a report by 9News.
