Police hunt ‘madman’ husband accused of ramming a DUMP TRUCK and a Chevy Impala into wife’s house

A Los Angeles man is on the run after he was caught on video ramming a dump truck and a Chevy Impala into his wife’s home after finding out she filed for a restraining order against him.

Ronald Dunn (pictured), 62, is on the run after driving two vehicles into his wife’s Los Angeles home.

Ronald Dunn, 62, was seen around 3:30 p.m. Sunday in a now-viral video driving his Chevrolet Impala to the South Los Angeles home after his wife Patricia, 63, obtained the warrant on January 9th.

In the video, someone can clearly be heard asking, ‘What the hell is he doing?’ when she crashed the truck into the house in Westmont, an unincorporated part of town east of Inglewood. Others are heard screaming.

Before ramming the truck into the house, Dunn had driven a Chevy Impala into the garage door before driving off and returning with the dump truck.

And shortly after the truck rammed into the house, he returned a third time in a white car to yell obscenities at his estranged wife and stunned neighbors.

The police did not arrive in time to catch him and showed up 45 minutes after the initial attack, because the incident had been reported as a traffic collision and not a criminal act.

The destruction left behind by Ronald Dunn has left his estranged wife no longer wanting to live in the house.

Since then, he has been evading the police, who have put up wanted signs for him. A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department told DailyMail.com that he was still on the run as of Wednesday morning.

Patricia Dunn said kcal that while she and her estranged husband were divorcing, the restraining order seemed to have changed him.

“I don’t know if he was drunk or under the influence,” he said. ‘I’ve never experienced anything like this in my life.’

When asked how the incident had made her feel, she simply said she was “completely freaked out” and said her husband “was freaking out.”

Her husband hadn’t even received the restraining order yet and just found out it was coming.

“Because we’re going through a divorce,” she said when asked why she was doing this. And he is upset by the fact that there is no contact. He is verbally abusive and I have nothing nice to say.

Dunn admitted KABC that he feared for his life.

‘A man under that kind of rage, who’s to say what he might do? He was trying to kill me. He really he was.

A witness said Dunn broke the home’s garage door before returning with the dump truck.

Journey Meggerson said Dunn returned a third time after starting his initial rampage with police still not being there in time to apprehend him.

Neighbors could hear Dunn yelling obscenities at his wife and neighbors, who were trying to protect Patricia.

The complete damage that was left includes a metal fence in front of the house bent all the way, as well as massive dents and cracks on the exterior of the house. Dunn also crashed into at least four parked cars on the street, causing visible damage.

Patricia Dunn said she was frustrated with the slow response time from police.

“If they had been here a little earlier, all this damage wouldn’t have happened because he came back three times and they weren’t even here,” he said.

Ultimately, as the police continue to search for her estranged husband, she clearly just wants to get away from both him and the house.

“I don’t even want this house anymore,” he said. “I want to put it up for sale and move on, because I don’t feel comfortable here anymore. I don’t know, I could go back. Who’s to say it isn’t?

An LAPD sergeant told the sacramento bee that Dunn could face charges including vandalism and criminal threats.

Police described Dunn as approximately 5’9″, 250 pounds, with black hair and black eyes. They also noted the Impala, a 2009 model with tinted windows and frontal traffic collision damage.

Anyone with information has been asked to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department South Los Angeles Station.
