Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s DLC expansion is getting an epilogue next month
Just when you thought so Pokémon Scarlet And purple'S Hidden treasure of Area Zero expansion was completed, it has been revealed that an epilogue for the story will be playable starting next month.
To be precise, the epilogue is scheduled to release on January 11 at 9am ET / 6am PT / 2pm GMT (or January 12 at 1am AEDT), so you won't have to wait long for it. In a short teaser trailer posted on TwitterThe Pokémon Company confirmed that in order to access it, players will need to “complete a certain post-game event in Pokémon Scarlet or Pokemon Violet', as well as the main stories of both The teal mask And The Indigo Disc DLC.

Very few details have been revealed about the contents of the epilogue. It takes place in Kitakami, the region where The teal mask The DLC was installed and from the trailer we can see that the favorite characters from the base game, Penny, Nemona and Arven, will be present. Otherwise, the end of the trailer lingers on the Pokémon trainer's silhouette displayed on the signboards around Kitakami, but it's unknown if this is a hint as to what the epilogue will be about.
For those unfamiliar, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet'S Hidden treasure of Area Zero expansion released in two parts – the first is The teal maskand the second being The Indigo Discwhich was recently launched on December 14th. The Indigo Disc takes place in the Blueberry Academy in the Unova region, and allows players to explore a massive underwater 'Terarium' filled with a wide variety of Pokémon to battle and catch. That includes all previous starter Pokémonsuch as Bulbasaur, Piplup and Cyndaquil.
