New MasterChef Australia host Poh Ling Yeow shared an incredible food hack with her fans on Thursday to ensure tomatoes retain their flavor during humid weather.
The celebrity chef, 50, posted a video to Instagram of herself adding smoked salt to her tomatoes to optimize their flavour.
The footage shows Poh sprinkling some tomato slices with the smoked salt before telling fans that the dish will now taste extra delicious.
She explained in the comments section that her food secret ensures the salad retains its flavor, especially during Australia's particularly hot summers.
'The tomatoes are not happy this year. Too much rain and humidity but I'll take what I can get,” she captioned the photos.

Adding smoked salt to tomato slices can enhance the flavor of the fruit by giving it a distinctive smoky and savory flavor.
Many of Poh's followers quickly took to the comments section to thank her for sharing her shock tip.
“Now all you need is cheese and some salad,” one fan wrote, and a second person added, “That salt is the best.”
It comes after Poh rang in the new year with some very cheeky selfies.
The reality TV star, who recently turned 50, posted on Instagram on Wednesday two photos of herself topless in the sunshine in her garden, wearing nothing but a hat obscuring her modesty.
Fresh-faced Poh beamed and pouted at the camera as she sprawled out on a pile of pillows, looking decades younger than her 50 years.

In her caption, the chef admitted that she overworked herself during the holiday season and finally forced herself to take a break.
'Well, you know that? I finally got my affairs in order and have the day off,” she began.
Poh will star as a judge on the upcoming 2024 season of MasterChef Australia, alongside Sofia Levin, Jean-Christophe Novell and returning judge Andy Allen.
Former judge Melissa Leong will not be returning to the program and the casting shake-up was announced in October, following the tragic death of popular MasterChef Australia judge Jock Zonfrillo on April 30.
