Plus-sized influencer reveals cringeworthy Valentine’s Day post in revealing lingerie

Body-positive influencer Karina Irby has shared a Valentine’s Day post encouraging her followers to be their own Valentine.

The bikini model, 33, took to Instagram to post a photo of herself sitting on a bed in revealing lingerie, alongside a message of self-love.

‘Are you feeling alone this Valentine’s Day? You’re not. You’re really with your best best friend now!’ her post began, before launching into a lengthy affirmation encouraging her followers to read for themselves.

“Dear (your name), Happy Valentine’s Day to my favorite person in the world: me!” she wrote.

“You are incredible, and I wanted to take a moment to remind you of that. You have style, sass and a lot of courage. I mean, look at you, rocking this thing called life like a boss!”

Her lengthy message of self-respect continued for several paragraphs, as she persuaded her followers to call themselves “superheroes” and “embrace your flaws.”

She concluded her message with “Happy Valentine’s Day, you wonderful human being! With all the love in the world, (your name).”

Karina is known for her posts about body positivity and the empire she’s built around selling saucy bikinis.

In 2011, Karina founded her swimwear label Moana Bikini, which has become a household name for women across Australia.

Last year, Irby was humiliated when she was assessed for a skin condition while getting a pedicure.

The bikini designer has been open about her lifelong battle with eczema, which leaves her skin marred by scars and ‘white spots’.

In an emotional Instagram video, she said she now felt “good” about her body and wanted a pedicure – something she has previously avoided because of her skin.

Unfortunately, instead of boosting her confidence, Karina’s courage was judged by her podiatrist.

“I have lumps, bumps, scars, as I understand it, I look different. But this lady looked at me like I was a pure disease,” the blonde beauty said in an emotional video.
