A plus-size influencer is hitting back at internet trolls who criticized her and her boyfriend for dating people of different weights, with the content creator insisting it’s true love.
Nikki Edwards has made a name for herself as a lifestyle content creator who regularly chronicles her daily life online.
The Georgia influencer has a ‘3x/4x’ body type and regularly shares photos of herself walking around in gorgeous outfits to help other curvy women learn to love themselves.
And after she started dating her love-struck boyfriend Terrance, Nikki showed her fans that they deserve to be loved, no matter their size.
However, her continued loving messages have made the couple the target of internet trolls, who have called Terrance “desperate” and claimed he was only with Nikki for her money.

While I was talking to Realthe lovebirds explained the overwhelming amount of hate they received.
“We’re in a relationship of different weights,” the couple said at the beginning of the video.
The duo explained that they met through their best friends, who are also in relationships.
They said they talked for “six hours” on their first date.
They then discussed the shocking reactions they receive in the newspaper because of their relationship.
Terrance said, “This isn’t my first relationship with a man of different weights, it’s actually my third.”
Nikki, who started as an influencer in 2018, noted that the hate was initially directed solely at her.
“I think society has a phobia about being fat,” she admitted.
But when she began sharing their love online, Terrance and their relationship quickly became the target of “cruel” comments.

The couple read out some of the comments, which compared Terrance to a gold digger and even called him “desperate” for being with Nikki.
Nikki also revealed that strangers often give them unwanted looks when the couple is out together.
She added: ‘Sometimes the comments do get to me, but he’s there to soften it and calm me down.’
The couple stressed that there are no ulterior motives in their relationship and that they love each other for their personalities.
Terrance said, “I’m attracted to plus size women, that’s one of the reasons I like Nikki so much, but the main reason is her character.”
