Sony’s Summer Sale has begun with some hefty hardware and software discounts across the catalog. One of the biggest discounts, however, is on the PlayStation 2 VR headset, which this week costs $349.99 (was $549.99) — a saving of over 37% off its regular price. While the future of PSVR 2 as a platform is still a bit hazy — according to reportsSony has scrapped the search for all but two upcoming titles — the company is working on making the headset compatible with Windows PCs. Just last week, Sony launched a PSVR 2 Steam App to enable support, and the required PSVR 2 PC Adapter PSVR 2 is set to release on August 7 for $59.99. Note that the PSVR 2 discount may only last until August 5, when the Sony Summer Sale ends. So if you’re looking to pick this up as a new PC VR headset (at around $350, the PSVR 2 is $150 cheaper than the Meta Quest 3), you’ll have to wait a few days before you can test it out.
