Ghostwire: Tokyo is Tango Gameworks’ supernatural first-person action-adventure game set in the haunted streets of Tokyo. We had mixed reactions to it when the game launched in 2022, writing in our review “that it’s an endearing experience. Great care is taken, from the cultural details in the sweet side stories to the depiction of the rain-swept world itself. But whatever charm there is is bogged down by frustrating design decisions and sluggish mechanics.” Ghostwire: Tokyo will be available for PS5.
Death Note killer inside launches on November 5 as a PlayStation Plus freebie. In the online social deduction game for up to 10 players, two teams, each with different objectives, compete against each other. According to Sony’s description of the game, “players will have to discover each other’s identities and either eliminate L who threatens Kira’s power or seize the Death Note. Enjoy a battle of wits as Kira and his minions, or as L and the researchers in the world of Death Note. As evenly matched opponents, the two teams clash to control the game while hiding their true identities from each other. The Death Note is hidden among the players, leading to a tense game of cat and mouse until one team overpowers the other.” Death Note killer inside will be available for PS4 and PS5.
November’s PS Plus games can be downloaded until December 2.
