Red, White & Royal Blue will tell the story from enemy to lover about a British prince who falls in love with the son of the US president

The cheerful mockery has an undertone of flirtation that seems to largely escape interviewers’ notice – and the pair show no signs of slowing down

At Red, White & Royal Blue, the fictional Prince Henry (Nicholas Galitzine) and first son Alex Claremont-Diaz (Taylor Zakhar Perez) will cause an “international incident” after a public row.

They are then forced to pretend to be friends to the world’s press – but as they grow closer, they soon discover that they may not be so different after all.

The latest trailer begins with Henry and Alex sitting next to each other on a very elegant couch as the pair are interviewed by a slew of journalists.

Alex is first asked what he thinks of ‘jolly old England’ to which he replies ‘I really love it here. I’ve been here a few times since my mom was elected. I like the people. The beer. The dogs wearing the sweaters.’

But Henry playfully interjects: “Well, we actually say “jumpers.”

And that seems to set off a light-hearted verbal sparring between the two, as Henry reveals, “Alex has very strong opinions and he shares them loudly.”

The first son is then asked what three words he would use to describe Henry, sharing: ‘White, blond and British’.

Henry says, “One thing I admire most about Alex is his willingness to admit when he’s wrong.”

The prince turns his head emphatically towards him with a rye smile and continues, “Great, wonderful quality to have.”

Alex fires back, “You don’t know this, but Henry does the best freestyle raps. Come on. Do a little for them.

‘She wants to hear it. Remember that one, it was like…”

Henry then again tries to get the better of Alex, instead asking about his “incredible Barbra Streisand impression”, adding “the voice of an angel this one”.
