Arsenal returned to the top of the Premier League with a 2-0 win over Wolves at Molineux.

Goals late in either half from Leandro Trossard and Martin Odegaard were enough to stop the rot for the Gunners, who had already been winless on three occasions.

It was far from original from Mikel Arteta’s troops, but given the pain meted out by the defeats to Aston Villa and Bayern Munich, the result was all that mattered.

Trossard was the star of the show for Arsenal and he makes a habit of scoring important goals.

Here are Mail Sport’s player ratings for the match.
