Playboy vet Kendra Wilkinson addresses weight gain and aging after cruel trolls criticize her appearance

Kendra Wilkinson shared a candid post about aging and gaining weight on Instagram on Sunday.

The 39-year-old former Playboy pinup – who last year admitted to being ‘mentally unwell’ while filming her property show – engaged her 3.1 million audience when she shared a photo and video update.

Wilkinson, who grew up in San Diego, posed in a large bathroom mirror wearing a white tank top and black leggings.

The mother of two, who has 15-year-old son Hank Jr. and 10-year-old daughter Alijah shares with ex-husband Hank Baskett, 42, told fans she is feeling good and “mentally healthy.”

She wrote in a thoughtful caption, “Yes, I have gained weight. Yes, I’m getting older. Yes, I’m not the girl I used to be (playboy girl), but for once in a while I feel good and mentally healthy.’

And the proud mother said: ‘Children are my everything. I feel quite balanced. Lots more exercise and cooking. Golf, work. No housekeeper or babysitter.’

The note continued, “For those of you who hate my new weight, 40 year old face, please know that I am finally happy, healthy and at peace in life.

“Leave me alone and respect that I am where I actually want to be, finally all together.”

The former reality TV personality turns 40 on June 12.

She got ahead of the critics, saying: ‘Almost 40 is a great feeling and yes, to the people criticizing my drinking… I hear you and it will be more closely monitored.’

She admitted, “Drinking too much is definitely drinking too much, but you know what’s in store in JUNE…. Shots. I love you.’

At the beginning of the month, Kendra shared another check-in with her audience.

Alongside a carousel of images, she wrote: ‘This week was about letting go and appreciating life. Set some realistic goals.

‘Resetting my mind, body and soul. I really appreciate my children and friends and am so grateful for my work and all the good people around me. I will be watching my alcohol consumption over the coming months and am looking forward to turning 40 in June.”

She was married to her former football star beau Hank from 2009-2018.

Wilkinson now works in real estate and starred in a Discovery+ series about the job called Kendra Sells Hollywood from 2021-2023.

She told me People in November: ‘I kind of regret filming my last show because I wasn’t really ready for it.

‘I was a bit mentally wrong and not ready to be in front of the camera. I wasn’t completely healed or that far yet. Now I feel there,” she explained.
