We’ve scoured the football archives for a new version of Teamsheet… Mail Sport’s original football memory game that lets you prove your football knowledge to friends and family once and for all.
The goal? We challenge you to name a starting XI from any match in Premier League history. The team’s rough line-up will already be provided, and you’ll also be told how many letters are in each player’s name. The key is to try and complete the line-up in as few attempts as possible.
Each time you place a bet, a point is added to your total, with an 11 – one for each player – giving the BEST score. Anyone can join in – friends, family, colleagues – but remember it’s all for fun!
Once you’ve finished guessing, you can pick a team and we’ll create a second Teamsheet for you. You can play two games per day and pick ANY club – from Brighton to Burnley – that has played in the Premier League since 2006. Premier League matches from 1992-2006 will be available in the coming weeks.
Jamie Vardy’s exciting antics against Tottenham on the opening weekend reminded us of the famous day Leicester City won the Premier League, culminating in Spurs’ clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge that led to Claudio Ranieri’s team winning the title. So how much do you remember about the infamous ‘Battle of the Bridge’?
Going well!
