PLAY TEAMSHEET: Can YOU remember the Liverpool side that brushed aside Chelsea at Anfield, winning 5-1?

A new day brings with it a new team overview and today we look at Liverpool versus Chelsea, ahead of today’s match between the two teams.

In 1996, Liverpool were one of the best teams in the world and Chelsea had not yet fully come to the fore. And the Reds showed their worth by sweeping aside their opponents to win 5-1 at Anfield with four different goalscorers.

Full instructions on how to play can be found at the bottom of the article and in the game itself – and be sure to check back tomorrow!

Good luck!

HOW TO PLAY

The aim of the game is to score as few points possible!

If you guess a player on the first try, you score one point – i.e. the lowest score for guessing each player on the first try is 11.

Guess a correct letter in the correct position and it turns green. Guess a correct letter, but in the wrong position, and it turns yellow.

You have six guesses for each player – and if you fail, we reveal their identity for 11 points! You can also ask for a free letter, but it will cost you a point.

So play on to see if you can score the best possible total of 11 – or fail with each player and score 121.
