The team sheet is back and today we look at the Manchester United of yesteryear, way back in 1995.

Looking to bounce back immediately after missing out on the Premier League title to Blackburn, Manchester United traveled to Aston Villa on the opening day of the season.

However, it was Villa who won the match, winning 3-1, but we want to know if you can call the Red Devils team from that day on. Full instructions on how to play can be found at the bottom of the article and in the game itself – and be sure to check back tomorrow!

HOW TO PLAY

The aim of the game is to score as few points possible!

If you guess a player on the first try, you score one point – i.e. the lowest score for guessing each player on the first try is 11.

Guess a correct letter in the correct position and it turns green. Guess a correct letter, but in the wrong position, and it turns yellow.

You have six guesses for each player – and if you fail, we reveal their identity for 11 points! You can also ask for a free letter, but it will cost you a point.

So play on to see if you can score the best possible total of 11 – or fail with each player and score 121.
