- A passenger on EVA Air BR67 flight from Bangkok has reportedly attempted suicide
A plane traveling from Thailand to Britain was forced to make a quick landing at a London airport after a passenger reportedly tried to commit suicide in a cabin toilet.
The EVA Air BR67 flight from Bangkok to London had begun its descent into the capital when flight attendants realized someone had occupied one of the bathrooms in the cabin.
Because the passengers had to leave the bathroom and strap into their seats for the descent, crew members went to check on the occupant and made a gruesome discovery.
A male passenger was found in serious distress and had sustained injuries, requiring immediate first aid from cabin crew and an onboard doctor.
The person, whose identity remains unknown, was stabilized after landing and rushed to a hospital.
EVA Air has since confirmed the disturbing event, but did not provide details on the extent of the man’s injuries and did not specify the destination airport – although aircraft tracking site FlightAware said the plane arrived at 7:03 pm local time, 17 minutes earlier landed at Heathrow than planned.
MailOnline has contacted EVA Air for further comment.
