Pixie Lott has shared a snippet of a new song about pregnancy, alongside a series of adorable behind-the-scenes snaps documenting her journey.
The singer, 32 – who is currently expecting her first child with husband Oliver Cheshire, 35 – took to Instagram on Wednesday to give followers an insight into her pregnancy so far.
She revealed that she had also written an emotional song about expecting a child, while giving fans a brief preview of the lyrics and soundtrack.
Pixie introduced the song and clips: “So I wrote this song a few weeks ago with my friend Toby.
And I wanted to show you because it makes the most sense lyrically now, before the bubba comes, because it’s all about expecting and preparing. I wanted to know what you think.’

After the song’s introduction, Pixie added a montage of clips, including a lovely video of her and Oliver getting emotional watching their ultrasound.
Another clip showed Pixie and Oliver discovering the gender of their baby as they interacted and shared a sweet kiss.
Pixie then shared a look at the adorable outfits she’s already picked out for her unborn child.
As the videos played, the emotional lyrics of Pixie’s song read, “I cleaned up my room for you and painted all the walls // I also removed the posters, put up a picture of us.”
“All these seeds you sewn are growing and so am I // I’ve been waiting for you for so long, guess good things take time.”
Last week, Pixie showed off her baby bump to husband Oliver in a Barbie-inspired shoot Arcadia magazine on Wednesday.

The singer talked about her excitement of becoming a mother to the publication and revealed that they are keeping the gender a surprise.
Asked what they’re most looking forward to when they become parents, Pixie said, “Meeting the baby!” We’re so excited about that, it’s crazy to think that.
“We’ve been together for so long, it’s going to be a great new chapter to experience together.”
On the gender of their little one, she added: “We’ll keep it a surprise. It’s just so over. I wanted to keep it a surprise to myself because I like surprises, but Ollie was like, no, let’s figure it out.
“The day we found out what we ate, we were jumping around. Well you (Oliver) were jumping like Tigger!’
Regarding baby names, Pixie said they’ve been making lists of options, but haven’t decided on anything yet.
But she did add that there is one “front runner” who “keeps coming out,” which is a sign they should opt for it.

At the time, she shared that she was already 31 weeks old while keeping her baby news a secret, but is now counting down the days until she welcomes her first child.
Pixie and Oliver finally tied the knot at Ely Cathedral last June after their nuptials were canceled multiple times due to Covid.
They were forced to cancel their big day several times during the Covid pandemic after getting engaged on the steps of St Paul’s Cathedral in 2016.
Pixie shot to fame with her successful debut album, Turn It Up, in 2009.
