Pistons star Jaden Ivey left screaming on floor in agony after horror injury… before leaving game on stretcher
Detroit Pistons star Jaden Ivey left the win over the Orlando Magic on a stretcher after suffering a gruesome leg injury in the fourth quarter.
While challenging each other for a loose ball, Orlando’s Cole Anthony slipped and fell into Ivey’s planted left leg, which sickeningly buckled from the impact.
The Detroit guard’s foot appeared to twist slightly out of place after Anthony’s contact, leaving him on the ground in obvious distress as he clutched his shin.
The Pistons’ medical team quickly attended to him at Little Caesars Arena before members of the training staff held up towels to block the crowd’s view and players from both teams formed a circle around him.
After a long delay, Ivey was loaded onto a stretcher and wheeled out of the arena with a towel covering the injury.
Players from both teams consoled both Ivey and Anthony, who was noticeably shaken by the play.

“I give the guys credit for making it happen; they care about him and didn’t want to let him down.’
Ivey led the Pistons with 22 points as they held on for an eventual 105-96 victory. He was only beaten that night by Magic guard Jalen Suggs (24 points).
Detroit led 73-55 with nine minutes left in the third quarter and appeared to be on its way to an easy victory. However, Orlando went on a 20-7 run to cut the score to 80-75.
The hosts turned the ball over eight times in eight minutes to help Orlando get back into the game, but scored the final four points of the quarter to take a nine-point lead.
The Magic had scored the first four points of the fourth quarter, but Tim Hardaway Jr. scored nine points over the next 6:30 to give the Pistons a 99–90 lead.
Cade Cunningham added 19 points and nine assists for the Pistons, who won four of five.
