Pip Edwards looks chic in all-black activewear as she takes a morning walk in Rose Bay after celebrating her 44th birthday

She celebrated her 44th birthday over the weekend.

But it was business as usual for Pip Edwards on Sunday as she returned to her usual daily training routine by completing a power walk around Rose Bay.

The PE Nation activewear co-founder looked chic in all-black activewear, including a tight cropped T-shirt and 3/4 workout leggings.

She completed her monochrome look with black socks, sneakers and retro sunglasses.

Pip’s short, sun-kissed locks were swept back in a carefree style, while an array of rings, earrings and a silver wristband added a touch of sparkle to her outfit.

She spent the weekend celebrating her 44th birthday, but on Sunday it was business as usual for Pip Edwards (pictured) as she returned to her usual daily exercise routine by doing a power walk around Rose Bay.

Pip appeared to be talking on the phone as she pounded the pavement with wireless headphones in her ears.

It comes after Pip and her PE Nation co-founder Claire Greaves split ahead of the unveiling of their latest collection at Australian Fashion Week.

A company spokesperson confirmed this month that Greaves (formerly Tregoning) would retain her stake in the business and remain on the board, but Edwards would take over as sole ‘visionary’ creative director.

According to the statement, Greaves left to pursue other creative endeavors.

“Claire Greaves has made the decision to step back from the day-to-day management of the company,” a spokesperson said.

“Claire will remain on the board and maintain her shareholding as the company continues to thrive in the highly creative, visionary hands of Pip Edwards at the helm.

“Pip and the company fully support Claire’s transition to pursue other creative endeavors and wish her all the best in her next chapter.”

Greaves did not elaborate on her split from Edwards after the announcement.

Greaves and Edwards worked together as designers at Sass & Bide before joining forces and launching their activewear brand in 2016.

They turned the luxury label into an international brand that attracted a large number of famous customers.

In May 2023, they expanded with the opening of their first physical store at The Galeries on George Street in Sydney.

The store was designed by an architect and features custom lamps, sculptures and furniture from local designers.

According to the company website, PE Nation was “born from a universal need for versatile sportswear, given the global shift to juggling fast-paced lives.”
