Pip Edwards flaunts her abs in Mykonos… after her P.E Nation co-founder Claire Greaves made telling ‘never go into business with friends’ remark

Pip Edwards enjoys a holiday on the Greek Islands after her surprise departure from PE Nation.

The 44-year-old designer shared a series of photos of herself enjoying the sights of Mykonos on Instagram on Thursday.

Pip posed by the sea at her accommodation, showing off her incredibly slim figure in a scanty bikini bottom.

She also shared a photo of herself poolside, wearing a black wide-brimmed Prada hat with a patterned scarf underneath.

Other photos show her walking through the island’s winding streets, providing glimpses of the beautiful blue-and-white houses of a village.

In another photo, she posed by an old wall as the sun set.

In the caption to her post she wrote: ‘Mykonos forever, photo dump part 1’, indicating that more snaps from her holiday would follow.

The glimpse from her vacation comes just days after the athleisure queen shockingly announced that she was stepping back from her hugely popular fashion label PE Nation.

This also comes as fashion label co-founder Claire Greaves (formerly Tregoning) spoke about her ‘new chapter’ in a new interview with Marie Claire.

Now Claire is embarking on an exciting new business venture, just months after leaving her 10-year partnership with Pip behind.

She has teamed up with Australian comedienne Celeste Barber to launch a brand new makeup brand called Booie Beauty.

Speaking to Marie Claire, Claire discussed her ‘new chapter’ with Celeste, 42, and gave insight into their working relationship.

‘[Celeste] “You are the ideas, you are the brand and I build the business behind it, that’s what I do,” Claire said during Celeste’s interview for the magazine’s cover story.

Claire then asked a telling question about forming business relationships with friends, after Edwards spectacularly deleted all traces of Greaves from PE Nation’s Instagram page following their split.

Claire asked Celeste, “They say you should never go into business with friends, is that true?”

To which Celeste replied, “We became friends through business, and I think that’s a smart way to do it. You have to like the people you work with.”

Celeste then complimented Claire for “reassuring” her when she made the bold career switch from acting to business.

“This is very different from what I do in my other life,” Celeste explains.

‘I’m a bit hesitant, I have ADHD so my brain jumps around a lot and that can sometimes give me away. Claire has really reassured me along the way and says, “No, don’t worry, you’ve got it all figured out.”‘

Pip took over as sole creative director after Claire’s departure and gave the brand a major overhaul and relaunch. She has now confirmed that she too is stepping down.

Earlier this week, Pip announced that she is stepping down and will no longer hold the position of creative director she took on after Claire’s departure.

“Following the celebrated and successful rebranding of PE Nation during Sydney Fashion Week, I will be stepping back as Creative Director of PE Nation to pursue new creative challenges,” Pip wrote in a lengthy caption on Instagram.

‘My time leading the brand as Creative Director was incredible. Although I am handing over that role, I will retain my directorship of PE Nation and my substantial shareholding. I am forever grateful and proud of what we have created. PE Nation will always be in my heart and soul.

‘As the brand grew, so did I. And just like the rebirth of PE Nation, it is now time for me to pursue my own personal Re/Creation era.’

“I would like to thank our loyal, dedicated and amazing PE Nation employees and community, both in Australia and internationally, for a phenomenal 10 years in which we birthed and experienced all that PE Nation has to offer and together we reached unforgettable heights,” she added.

Pip and Claire founded the athleisure brand in Sydney in 2015 and have grown it into a globally thriving business.
