Pink totally nailed an Australian accent as she promoted her Summer Carnival tour in a new interview.
The American star, 44, spoke to Channel Nine’s Richard Wilkins about the Australian leg of her tour, which she kicked off in epic style in Sydney on Friday night.
During the chat, Pink showed off her perfect Australian accent as she expressed her love for the country, which she describes as her “second home.”
The singer joked that her Australian manager Roger Davies criticized her Australian accent, saying she was slipping into a New Zealand tone.
After saying she was “working on it,” Today Show entertainment reporter Richard, 69, urged her to say something in an Australian accent so he could judge for himself.

Richard assured her: ‘You sound more Aussie than Kiwi!’
Pink continued her love for Australia, having previously revealed she had been ‘looking into possible citizenship’.
Richard told her, “You just slide into the country like a hand in a glove and I love how you do that.”
To which Pink – whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore – replied: “I was here five minutes and I picked up a new saying: ‘She’ll be right.’
“We started doing clubs here and this was the first place that really touched me,” she added.
Pink also teased what fans can expect from the Australian leg of her Summer Carnival tour and promised more death-defying stunts.

The singer is known for performing a series of very daring acts during her concerts, including floating over the crowd while suspended in a harness.
She admitted that she always pushes herself to find new and exciting things to do on stage to continue to impress the audience.
“I wanted to be flown by drones on a magic carpet, but they were afraid someone could hack into it and take me away, and I thought, where are they going to take me?” she said.
Richard asked how long she would be doing the huge stunts, to which Pink insisted, “Forever!”
Earlier this week, Pink revealed her secret struggle to perform her signature stunts on stage.
She has admitted that getting insurance brokers to let her do the stunts has not always been smooth sailing as they have to opt out of each tour.
She accused them of ‘age discrimination’ for trying to stop her from performing the acts, arguing that they had no problem with it when she was younger.
Earlier this week, Pink revealed her secret struggle to perform her death-defying stunts on stage, accusing insurance brokers of age discrimination for not allowing her to do so.
“They’ve tried to say no many times; I told them they are older,” she said the Daily Telegraph.
“I told them to look at all these guys in the NFL doing all the crazy things and you assure them, but someone pointed out that there’s a lot of them but only one of me and I can’t be replaced.
“But they still had no problem with it when I was 25, and now I’m stronger, I’m in the best shape of my life.”
Pink kicked off her Australian tour at Sydney’s Allianz Stadium on Friday, but had a very eventful first show as she had to briefly halt the concert when a fan went into labor.
After seeing a pregnant woman being wheeled out of her concert by a doctor, the So What hitmaker paused midway through her performance of Our Song to see what was going on.
When she discovered the concertgoer was having contractions, the mother of two excitedly tried to find out the baby’s gender.
‘Is it Alicia or Alex who is born? she asked, referring to her own birth name, from the stage.
Pink, who admitted she didn’t feel like they had to “watch” anymore, urged the crowd to give the woman some “privacy.”

‘Wow, Our Song, that was the one that did it. I wouldn’t have called them! “I thought it was going to be Get The Party Started or “Never Not Gonna Dance Again,” she said.
‘That is exciting. I don’t even know what to say. But we have to sing now. Good luck! It will be great! You’re going to do great,” she shouted.
This isn’t the first time a fan has gone into labor at one of her shows, as in August, a fan named Angela Mercer went into labor during her concert at Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts, and later welcomed a son.
The global star will travel the country for a series of shows on her Australian tour before ending in Queensland on March 23.
Pink was born and raised in the United States but has become an ‘honorary Australia’ after breaking records for concert and album sales Down Under.
According to a report in New idea Pink hopes to start a ‘new chapter’ in Australia with her family last year and is considering setting up a ‘base’ Down Under.
She has long considered Australia a second home and said she was “exploring” possible citizenship in February 2023.

“Australia will be such a special time. Setting up their long-awaited dream base Down Under, where they can escape the winter months, is just what the doctor ordered,” said an insider.
“Last year I was thinking about applying for citizenship, I’m not even kidding,” she said on 60 Minutes.
Pink added that she told her husband Carey Hart that they had to move with their children Willow, 12, and Jameson, seven.
“I was like, if we’re going somewhere, Carey, that’s where we’re going. So I was kind of looking for it,” she added.
