Pink’s secret friendship with big Australian star revealed as the pop icon continues her Summer Carnival Tour Down Under

Pink has been very vocal about her love for Australia and the people who live Down Under as she kicks off her latest Summer Carnival Tour.

And now it has been revealed that one of her best friends is a very famous Australian media personality.

Rove McManus has had a close friendship with the pop icon, 44, since the early 2000s, when she visited his titular late-night chat show.

“We just kind of hit it off, and every time she came back she became more and more famous and our show became more and more popular and it just made a friendship blossom,” Rove said. News.com.au on the red carpet at the AACTA Awards.

“She’s funny, she’s witty, she has a big heart, very caring and very generous with her time.”

Rove, 50, went on to say that Pink’s husband Carey Hart even “taught me how to ride a motorcycle,” although it was a “rough” learning curve for him.

He said he and his wife Tasma heard the happy news while having lunch with the popular artist.

‘We went to lunch and Taz (wife Tasma Walton) said, “We don’t have to leave the property if that’s a problem.” But Pink said, “No, don’t worry,” he explained.

Pink is currently back in Australia for her Summer Carnival Tour, which kicked off in Sydney on February 9.

Pink isn’t the only major celebrity that Rove seems to have a close friendship with.

On Sunday, after the AACTA Awards wrapped, the television host shared a selfie of himself and Australian star Margot Robbie on Instagram.
