Pink proves she is the ultimate daredevil as she inspects bluebottles while on a Gold Coast beach with her husband Carey Hart and their two children Willow, 12, and Jameson, seven

Pink and her family had an encounter with some bluebottles that had washed up on a beach in Queensland on Thursday.

The 44-year-old American superstar landed on the Gold Coast earlier this week and explored the sights by taking her husband Carey Hart, 48, and their two children Willow, 12, and Jameson, seven, for a walk on the sand.

The So What hitmaker proved she was the ultimate daredevil as she got up close to the sea creatures that can leave a nasty sting on human skin when touched.

Crouching low on the sand, Pink inspected one of the bluebottles.

She held her son Jameson’s hand and pointed out some of the other stingers before leading him and her family to a drier and safer area.

Manly Markets manager Mark Eymes witnessed the encounter while queuing with his cousin and quickly realized it was Pink as she spoke with an American accent.

He told the Manly Observer he heard Pink, who arrived with a group of about eight people, telling staff she had a booking but they said she couldn’t get in without showing ID, according to Australian rules.

“The next moment I saw Pink and her group walking away, they just locked her out,” he said.

Despite the awkward blunder, Mark insisted she “didn’t throw her weight around” and that she was “really nice” even though she couldn’t enjoy her evening at the venue.

‘She didn’t try once, she was very nice even though she was a little upset that she couldn’t get in. “It was just such a shame and I felt a bit ashamed that a solution couldn’t be found,” he said. added.

Manly Skiff Club Secretary Manager Matt Hazell told Ny Breaking Australia: “The Club deeply regrets any inconvenience caused to Pink, her family and friends during her recent visit to the Club.

‘We sincerely apologize for the misunderstanding surrounding the identity requirement and will use the incident to improve our processes in the future.’

Under the Registered Clubs Act 1976, visitors to clubs are required to present appropriate identification to gain entry to the venues.

Following the incident, fans have branded New South Wales a ‘nanny state’ due to its ‘archaic’ club entry rules.

“Another weird Australian rule that doesn’t make sense anywhere else in the world,” one person wrote on social media, while another simply said: “What a stupid rule.”

“If you want a nanny state, we’ll give you a nanny state,” another fan added.
