Pink praised as the ‘most incredible human on earth’ as sick children visited by the popstar speak about the singer’s impact on their hospital stay

Pink took some time off from her busy Australian tour schedule on Tuesday to perform for sick children at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne.

The So What hitmaker, 44, gave them a day to remember when she visited and performed some acoustic songs on her guitar with her daughter Willow, 12.

One of the children appeared on the Today show on Wednesday to talk about the international pop icon’s heartwarming visit, organized by Challenge, a non-profit organization that supports children with cancer.

10-year-old Imogen Mulgrew joined the show’s hosts with her parents and said she has been a fan of the pop star for years.

“It took me a few seconds to realize this was Pink and I can’t explain it (right now),” she said.

Imogen’s mother Shannon added: “It’s very emotional because it can be quite isolating in hospital, so for Challenge it was just great to organize something like this.”

Pink shared a precious video on Instagram on Tuesday capturing the beautiful moment she visited the hospital and sang her hit ‘Cover Me In Sunshine’ to the children.

Imogen was seen in the heartfelt clip alongside Pink, who told the 10-year-old: “You’re like a little light bulb.”

In another heartwarming moment, a mother of a cancer-stricken boy became visibly emotional as she told the singer that her music “helped her get through everything he’s going through.”

“Thank you to everyone who spent time with me. Thanks for sharing your stories and letting us play some songs for you. We will not forget this day.’

Many of Pink’s followers flocked to the comments section to praise her for her extraordinary act of kindness.

‘Thank you so much to Pink, Willow and the wonderful team! What a wonderful visit, it meant a lot to families and staff. We hope to see you again next time,” the RCH Melbourne wrote.
