‘The best moment of her life’: Pink leaves two young superfans crying in shock when she surprises them for International Women’s Day

Pink left two of her biggest fans in shock Wednesday when she surprised them for International Women’s Day on Hits Radio.

Izzy, 12, who had been diagnosed with cancer in 2018, and Summer Gillies, 10, thought they were in the studio to interview Fleur East as part of a charity drive.

The girls gasped when their interview was interrupted when the 43-year-old Grammy Award winner entered the studio.

Izzy said meeting Pink, whose real name is Alecia Hart, was “the best moment of her life” as she hugged the star while wiping away tears.

After recovering from the shock, the girls talked to the hitmaker about her ambitions as a child.

Shocked: Izzy, 12, who had been diagnosed with cancer in 2018, and Summer Gillies, 10, thought they were in the studio to interview Fleur East as part of a charity campaign.

Pink looked effortlessly cool for the appearance in a pair of zip-front cargo pants that she teamed with a striking blue crop top.

The composer donned a sleek white cardigan with the outfit that sported a bright blue fur collar and accessorized with a pair of daring silver triangle earrings.

The girls asked the star ‘what made you want to be a singer?’ since they had the opportunity to talk to her idol.

Pink said, ‘I wanted to get out of my town. I loved music and dancing, even though I’m not very good at it.

“I just wanted to write songs and conquer the world. You dream big and you never know, but I didn’t think I’d be this lucky.

During the conversation, Pink also revealed that if she hadn’t pursued a singing career, she would have been a lawyer.

The star will kick off her world tour in June in the UK, for which both Izzy and Summer have tickets.

The award-winning artist has hinted that her mini-me daughter Willow Sage, 11, will join her on stage once again and is currently working on ‘a hoverboard stunt’ for the shows.

Pink has supported Willow as she follows in her footsteps, and the mother-daughter duo released a duet called Cover Me In Sunshine in early 2021.

Later that year, Willow joined her mother onstage at the Billboard Music Awards to perform special stunts together for their Cover Me In Sunshine performance.
