Get me out of here! Downcast Pink and her family flee Sydney after being denied entry into harbourside Aussie club as her fans respond to ’embarrassing’ rules: ‘Nanny state strikes again’
Pink and her family have left Sydney for Queensland after being denied entry to an Australian club because of one simple rule.
The American superstar, 44, is said to have visited the Manly 16ft Skiff Club with a party of around eight people on Monday evening but was turned away at the door.
Pink, her husband Carey Hart, 48, and their two children Willow, 12, and Jameson, seven, were spotted boarding a plane at Sydney Airport before landing on the Gold Coast as she continued her epic Summer Carnival tour of Australia.
Wearing a paisley print outfit and a gray trucker cap, the singer looked somber as she boarded a plane, with her family following close behind.
She wore black sunglasses, a pair of earrings and white Nike sneakers.

Pink was later seen smiling as she boarded the plane.
The family then landed on the Gold Coast about an hour later, ahead of her show at Suncorp Stadium in Milton on Friday.
Pink, whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore, was reportedly refused entry to the popular harborside venue because she didn’t bring ID.
Manly Market Manager, Mark Eymes, witnessed the encounter while queuing with his cousin, and quickly realized it was Pink as she spoke with an American accent.

He told the Manly Observer he heard her tell staff she had a booking, but they said she couldn’t get in without showing ID, according to Australian rules.
He said: ‘They said she couldn’t get in without (her ID), even though she explained she had already secured her booking with a deposit.’
He said he tried to help by informing the Skiff Club directors and floor manager that Pink was at the entrance and about to be turned away, but to no avail.
“The next moment I saw P!NK and her group walking away, they just locked her out,” he said.
She appeared to smile and have a friendly conversation with an airport employee before turning to walk back up the stairs

Despite the awkward blunder, Mark insisted she “didn’t throw her weight around” and that she was “really nice” even though she couldn’t enjoy her evening at the venue.
He added: ‘Not once did she throw her weight around, she was really nice despite being a bit upset that she couldn’t get in, it was just such a shame and I felt a bit embarrassed that there was no solution could be found.’
Matt Hazell, secretary manager of the Manly Skiff Club, told Ny Breaking Australia: ‘The club deeply regrets any inconvenience caused to P!NK, her family and friends during her recent visit to the club.

‘We sincerely apologize for the misunderstanding surrounding the identity requirement and will use the incident to improve our processes in the future.’
Under the Registered Clubs Act 1976, visitors to clubs are required to present appropriate identification to gain entry to the venues.

Meanwhile, fans have lashed out as the ‘nanny state’ of New South Wales struck again over ‘archaic’ club entry rules.
“Another weird Australian rule that doesn’t make sense anywhere else in the world,” one fan wrote on social media, while another simply said: “What a stupid rule.”
“If you want a nanny state, we’ll give you a nanny state,” someone added.
‘Archaic club rules from 70 years ago. How embarrassing,” wrote another. ‘Time to turn clubs into pubs, but then those who run them would miss out.’
“Really sad… I understand the rules but hey… It’s P!NK… She could have come to my house,” one fan shared.
