A teenager is fighting for her life while a woman is believed to have suffered spinal injuries after an accident on the Gold Coast.
A Holden Commodore with five people on board climbed a roundabout and collided with a retaining wall on William Boulevard in Pimpama just before 1am on Sunday.
A 19-year-old Queensland man was seriously injured and rushed to Gold Coast University Hospital.
A 20-year-old woman from Western Australia was taken to the same hospital with suspected spinal cord injuries.
The 18-year-old driver was taken to hospital for a check-up and is assisting police with the investigation.
Emergency responders examined an 18-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man at the scene.
