A pilot has left thousands of travelers relieved after revealing why airline passengers need not panic during turbulence.
Jimmy Nicholson, a former star of The Bachelor, was traveling with his wife Holly Kingston when their plane hit the worst turbulence the pilot had ever experienced – but he wasn’t worried at all.
While other passengers panicked, the 33-year-old was relaxed knowing that planes are built to withstand extreme turbulence and will never ‘fall out of the sky’.
Turbulence during the short flight caused dramatic scenes as the plane shook and passengers screamed and clung to the seats in front of them.
Jimmy shared his tips for staying calm in heavy turbulence, including a handy trick with a water bottle.

The season nine Bachelor was on an hour-long flight from Barcelona to Menorca while honeymooning with his wife when their plane encountered turbulence.
‘We’re at the back of the plane, so it’s even worse here. It’s not comfortable, one of the worst I’ve experienced. They could be widespread storms, so they just have to take the path of least resistance to move through,” he said in a TikTok. clamp.
‘Nothing to worry about, planes are built to withstand much worse. Apparently not fun, but totally fine.’
He shared three ways passengers can avoid panicking by reminding themselves that turbulence is “completely normal.”
“The plan did not come out of the blue,” he said.
Second, he held up a water bottle upside down to show that the liquid inside it doesn’t move much despite the plane shaking.
Jimmy also recommended giving yourself some air through the vent and looking out a window if you can.
The clip of the pilot was seen no less than 17.7 million times. Many shared their fear of flying and relief at Jimmy’s sound advice.
“My brain understands all that logically, but unfortunately my emotions take over and send me into complete panic whenever there is turbulence,” said one viewer.
“This was actually VERY comforting,” wrote another.
‘I always look at the flight attendants. If they don’t panic, then I won’t panic either,” a third replied.
‘Turbulence scares me so much, it’s one of the things I fear most. So it helps to see you so calm,” a fourth added.
