Pikria Darchia: Fifth victim in horror Westfield Bondi Junction stabbing massacre is identified – as fears grow for three others fighting for life in hospital

A local artist has been identified as the fifth victim of the Westfield Bondi stabbing, as fears grow for three others fighting for their lives in hospital.

Joel Cauchi, 40, fatally stabbed six people and injured at least 12 others in a rampage at the busy shopping center on Saturday afternoon.

The attack killed six people and injured several others.

Pikria Darchia, 55, who describes herself as an artist on LinkedIn and is believed to be originally from Tbilisi, Georgia, was the fifth victim to be identified.

It comes as fears grow and the death toll could rise as three people, including a nine-month-old baby, remain in critical condition and fighting for their lives in hospital.

Another six are in a serious but stable condition.

Dr Good, the daughter of former North Melbourne AFL player and board member Kerry Good, was remembered by her family as a ‘beautiful mother, daughter, sister, partner, friend’ and an ‘all-round outstanding human being’.

Meanwhile, security guard Faraz Tahir, 30, died while serving the public as a Westfield security guard during the attack.

He was a refugee from Pakistan.

Daily Mail Australia understands this was his first week on the job.

“He took refuge in Australia just a year ago, fleeing persecution in his home country of Pakistan,” said a statement from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.

Jade Young, from Bellevue Hill in Sydney’s east, was also among those killed.

Mrs Young worked for an architectural firm in Double Bay and was a popular member of the Bronte Surf Club.

“This has been and will continue to be a difficult time for the community, and we encourage you to seek support from family, friends, fellow club members or speak to your GP to help you cope with this tragedy,” the club said in a statement.

The 25-year-old, who posted her fiancé’s proposal on social media in July, worked for Sydney-based fashion label White Fox Boutique.

Another female victim, believed to be from abroad, has not yet been identified.
