Piers Morgan trolled Rio Ferdinand after Manchester United conceded four goals against Crystal Palace.

Erik ten Hag’s men suffered their heaviest defeat of the season at Selhurst Park, denting their European hopes.

Michael Olise scored a brace, while Jean-Philippe Mateta and Tyrick Mitchell also got on the scoresheet to condemn United to their 13th Premier League defeat of the season.

And Arsenal fan Morgan was in the mood to laugh at United’s expense during a social media exchange with former defender Ferdinand.

After Olise scored his second of the night to give Crystal Palace four goals, he wrote on #Tears4Rio’.

Morgan quickly hit back, saying, “I would focus on the huge tits playing for your teammate..”

Olise opened the scoring against Erik ten Hag’s men after an excellent solo run before finishing past Andre Onana in the 12th minute.

Crystal Palace doubled their lead five minutes before half-time thanks to a booming strike from Jean-Philippe Mateta before Tyrick Mitchell made it three.

Olise got his second of the evening with another stunning goal, sealing a memorable victory for Oliver Glasner’s side.

The defeat in south London has left United eighth in the table, two points off a European spot.

The Red Devils will try to return to the way leaders Arsenal visit Old Trafford on Sunday.
