Three students who were killed when a gunman opened fire on the Michigan State University campus Monday night have been identified.

Alexandria ‘Alex’ Verner, a 2020 graduate of Clawson High School, was killed in the shooting, according to an email sent by CPS school officials. She studied biology and anthropology at MSU and will graduate in 2024.

Brian Fraser, 20, who graduated from Grosse Pointe South and was studying business at MSU, was identified as the second victim in the massacre, the university police department confirmed.

Arielle Diamond Anderson, 19, the niece of reality star Deelishis, was the third victim identified Tuesday.

Three students were killed and five others wounded when 43-year-old Anthony McRae opened fire on the MSU campus at 8:18 p.m. Monday.

Alexandria Verner, a junior studying biology and anthropology at Michigan State University, was killed in the shooting, according to an email sent by CPS school officials.

Brian Fraser, 20, a sophomore studying business at Michigan State, was identified as another victim in the massacre, MSU police confirmed.

Flavor of Love star Deelishis, who posted on Monday that her niece was missing, pinned a comment from another family member who wrote “my sweet beautiful niece… RIP girl.”

McRae committed suicide last night after a pointless rampage.

Verner was the first victim to be identified in a statement from her hometown school district, which described her as “a tremendous student, athlete, [and] leader’ who ‘exemplified goodness’.

‘If you knew [Alex]You loved her and we will always remember the lasting impact she has had on all of us,” the statement read.

Alex was studying integrated biology and anthropology at MSU and would graduate in 2024, according to his LinkedIn profile.

The second victim was identified by the Michigan State University Police Department and Public Safety Police as Brian Fraser, a Grosse Point sophomore.

According to Fraser’s LinkedIn page, he was studying business and had previously worked as the head lifeguard at a Detroit country club.

Flavor of Love star Deelishis, who had posted on social media Monday night that niece had disappeared from the college campus and has since pinned a comment from another family member who wrote ‘my sweet beautiful niece…RIP girl’.

Like Fraser, Anderson also graduated from the Grosse Pointe public school system. Her family told her W X Y Z that he loved children and that he wanted to be a pediatrician one day.

Five others who were injured in the shooting remain hospitalized as of Tuesday afternoon.

The gunman has no known ties to the school and it is unclear what the motive for the shooting was or what type of weapon he used.

McRae killed himself before police got to him, after killing three MSU students in two different locations on campus last night and wounding five others.

The gunman was identified by police as 43-year-old Anthony McRae. Records show a man with the same name who lives in Lansing who was arrested in 2019 for having a loaded gun in his car.

The suspected gunman, pictured here, was last seen leaving the union building. He was wearing a jean jacket, red shoes, a black mask, and a baseball cap. The police confirmed that he is now dead

His father, Michael, 66, described him today as a “mama’s boy” who turned “bad and bad” after his mother Linda died suddenly three years ago. The couple lived together in the McRae family home, which is about five miles from the MSU campus.

McRae was found with a note in his pocket stating a threat to two public schools in Ewing, New Jersey, which were closed for the day “out of an abundance of caution.”

McRae terrorized the campus for nearly four hours, running through the streets, brandishing a gun and firing bullets, but police have yet to establish a motive.

The security camera clip showed him, dressed in a jean jacket, cap and red sneakers, nonchalantly wandering down a street he had just shot at two separate locations on campus.

The 43-year-old shooter entered an academic building called Berkey Hall at 8:18 p.m. and fired indiscriminately at the occupants.

Two people died on the spot and three others suffered serious injuries.

Police officers arrived on the scene in response to a torrent of urgent 911 calls, but the killer had already left the premises, headed west of the building and prowled the campus streets as he searched for his next victims.

Less than 15 minutes later, shots were reported at the MSU Union building, a popular place for students to eat, drink and study just a 10-minute walk from Berkey Hall.

ALMA MATER HIGH SCHOOL REMEMBER MSU VICTIM ALEX VERNER AS A ‘TREMENDOUS STUDENT ATHLETE’ AND ‘LEADER’ WHO ‘GAVE AN EXAMPLE OF KINDNESS’

The full email from CPS Superintendent Billy Shellenbarger reads:

‘Good morning CPS families,

‘It is with an extremely heavy heart that I communicate with all of you this morning. As many of you have probably heard, last night on the Michigan State University campus there was an active shooter incident. Three people lost their lives as a result of this incident. One of those students was one of ours. I have spoken with the family and have been given permission to share the following information. Alexandria Verner, a 2020 graduate of Clawson High School, passed away last night on the Michigan State University campus.

“Alex was and is incredibly loved by everyone. She was a great student, athlete, leader and exemplified kindness every day of her life! Her parents, Ted and Nancy, and her sister Charlotte and her brother TJ are equally heartbroken, but no doubt already feel the uplifting support of this tremendous community. She started at Baker Preschool, went on to Schalm Elementary School, and finished at Clawson Middle and High School. If you knew her, you loved her and we will always remember the lasting impact she has had on all of us.

‘Our school’s crisis response team is handling the situation in a calm and compassionate manner. In addition, members of the CPS crisis team are in the buildings today and we have additional support from Royal Oak Schools mental health staff and therapy dogs from Walled Lake Consolidated Schools. Please be assured that team members will continue to support students and staff as long as the need exists.

‘As our children, regardless of age, learn or hear about these events, they may have questions or express concerns. Keep in mind that by expressing their concerns, they are seeking reassurance that they are safe. Listening to them, reassuring them and giving them a hug, regardless of their age, is essential. Also, the National Association of School Psychologists has lots of tips for talking to kids about violence (link below) on their website.

‘I understand that it can be difficult to send your children to school after an event like this. However, our schools are ready to support your children during any crisis situation. We love and care deeply about our students and their well-being and safety is our top priority.

‘Finally, if you have any further concerns, please feel free to contact the administration at your child’s school or myself. As always, we thank you for your assistance and support.’
