Incredible ‘JetCar’ personal watercraft that resemble Corvette sports cars are available for rent in Miami JetCar USAwho claims they can hit 56 knots (65 mph).

With their glossy paintwork and open roofs, these two-seater ships look like something out of a James Bond movie.

They cost $350 (£277) an hour to rent, or about $55,500 (£44,000) to buy.

The ‘JetCar’ features an onboard music system with Bluetooth capability and ‘premium speakers’ so you can ‘enjoy your favorite tunes while cruising through the water in style’.

The fiberglass hull of the car-shaped craft comes in a variety of colors, from sky blue to orange and bright pink.

Buyers can choose to add a range of modern conveniences to the vessel, such as interior LED lighting, cup holders and a GPS tracking system. They can also choose from a variety of engine types, from a 180 horsepower Yamaha engine to a 300 horsepower Sea-Doo engine.

Life jackets and a fire extinguisher are stored on board, and the ship may be monitored by “chase boats” to ensure passengers have a “safe, satisfying time” behind the wheel, JetCarUSA says.

A recent model, a 15-foot craft based on a Corvette C8 sports car, was auctioned on the site earlier this year Boats & buyersbut it was not sold.

The auction site states: ‘Unlike a jet ski, the JetCar is much more stable and easier to balance, even in rough water. The responsive steering system makes it easy to steer and maneuver, so you can navigate tight turns with ease and stop quickly.

“But don’t let the ease of use fool you – the JetCar is also incredibly fast and powerful, allowing you to reach exhilarating speeds on the water.”

YouTuber Brandon Jordan shared a video which shows him being pulled over by the police while driving a JetCar on the water.

The police can be seen questioning him about what kind of watercraft the JetCar is, to which Brandon replies, “Actually, it’s just a big old jet ski, just a really weird shape.”

After checking the papers Brandon had for the ship, they moved on. “They were super nice, super respectful,” he tells the camera in the clip.

Reflecting on the company’s business plan, JetCarUSA owner Naquan told Robinson Lead pressure: ‘You won’t find anything like this on the market at the moment.

Every corner of the United States is important to us. The public loves them, the market has spoken. It’s just a matter of getting them out.”
