PICTURED: New Jersey woman wears ‘good vibes’ shirt as she’s perp walked after she crashed into seven pedestrians in Midtown Manhattan before causing carnage on expressway
A female motorist who hit seven pedestrians in Midtown Manhattan on Sunday night is pictured entering the courtroom wearing a “good vibes” T-shirt.
Imani Lucas, 29, reportedly prayed to God and closed her eyes before running a red light just before midnight
She was photographed Tuesday morning handcuffed, flanked by two officers as she entered the courtroom looking disheveled while wearing a gray T-shirt with the slogan “good vibes” on it.
Shocking new photos show the aftermath of a bloody collision after a female driver plowed into seven pedestrians in New York late Sunday.
Imani Lucas, 29, is charged with attempted murder for allegedly mowing down six men and a woman in her black Honda Accord just before midnight in Midtown Manhattan.
She reportedly said a prayer before running a red light and crashing into people as they crossed the crosswalk between West 36th Street and 6th Avenue at 11:55 p.m.
Horrifying images show how many of the victims – six men and one woman, aged 24 to 61 – lie unconscious and covered in blood on the ground.
Meanwhile, Lucas, of Belle Mead, New Jersey, continued to drive about 13 miles through the Midtown Tunnel before crashing into two vehicles off the Long Island Expressway near Clearview, Queens.

Miraculously, all pedestrians and other motorists affected by her rampage are expected to survive, though some suffered horrific injuries ranging from leg fractures to spinal cord damage, requiring five hours of surgery.
NYPD said Lucas is undergoing a psychiatric evaluation.
She faces seven counts of attempted murder, seven counts of assault, reckless endangerment, leaving the scene of an accident with serious injury and reckless driving.
Photos that emerged in the immediate aftermath show that the front of Lucas’ Honda was completely crumpled from the impact of her latest crash – and new images released Tuesday show her on the road moments before.
CCTV footage released Tuesday shows Lucas hurtling down the highway and appearing to run a red light as another vehicle waits at a crosswalk.
Horrifying footage captured moments later shows the gruesome impact of what police said was an attempt to kill seven innocent pedestrians.
Police said they were mostly New Yorkers, with one or two tourists, reportedly from Italy.
An alerted employee at a nearby Taco Bell sprang into action after seeing what was happening.
He said all the pedestrians were unresponsive when he first ran into the street. Many were thrown between garbage bags near the sidewalk, photos show.
“I gave them water and tissues to clean everything up. It was a very dangerous accident,” the Taco Bell employee told Pix11 shortly after the crash.
Footage from the scene shows people stepping between their bodies as they try to check their vital signs. One man is on the phone with emergency services.

Lucas’s black Honda Accord was badly damaged in the crash in Queens, about 13 miles from where she collided with pedestrians
The NYPD has so far identified the victims as six men ages 24, 27, 28, 30, 32 and 61, along with a 34-year-old woman.
They were taken to area hospitals, with the exception of the 30-year-old man who refused to go, police said.
Their injuries range from “general complaints of anxiety to a broken leg.”
A date for Lucas’ court appearance has not yet been confirmed as she is still undergoing a psychiatric evaluation.
Two of the pedestrians have been named by Italian-English outlet The Voice of New York as Italian tourists Giulia Gardini, 34, and Matteo Maj, 51.
Gardani, a tennis instructor from Piacenza, just outside Milan, was left in critical condition after suffering a cervical spine injury from the impact that required five hours of surgery.
Maj, a graphic designer, had to undergo surgery for a tibia and fibula procedure, according to the newspaper, who spoke to his sister Monica Maj.
