A photo was taken of a woman whose corpse was wrapped in a plastic bag in a South Los Angeles home.
The body of 30-year-old Hannah Rachel Collins was found Sunday in the bedroom of a 26-year-old Hispanic man by his horrified mother at her home in the 2200 block of Wall Street.
It is not yet publicly known how or when she died, but police are still looking for the 26-year-old suspect. DailyMail.com has contacted the LAPD for more information.
The mother called police and told officers she walked into her son’s room early Sunday to investigate a “obvious smell of gas.” reported the New York Post.
Instead, she discovered the gruesome scene of Collins’ body bundled up in plastic.

A family member told the Post that relatives had not heard from Collins, who is from Mississippi, since shortly after her birthday on August 7. She had moved from her home state to LA in June.
The victim had just celebrated her birthday two weeks earlier, according to information released by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
Officials described the deceased as a white female and she was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. Little other information about the victim has been released.
The homeowner could not find her son at the time of the discovery.
The Los Angeles Police Department has launched a murder investigation, but no arrests have yet been made.
Police are continuing to investigate the 26-year-old suspect, but have not publicly released his identity.
