Two-time Oscar winner Brad Pitt puts his passion for architecture and landscaping on full display at his 15-acre oceanfront resort in Goleta, CA, where carefully planted vegetation creates colorful patterns along the beach.
The Oklahoma-born, 59-year-old originally bought the property — located near Gaviota State Park nine miles west of Santa Barbara — for $4 million in 2000, though estimates today put it closer to $20 million.
Brad’s eccentric touches to the beachside abode include a teepee that looks ceremonial, surrounded by a fence, tucked into the woods at the edge of the property and accessed by a long set of stairs.
“I love that architecture is this huge work of art that you can be inside,” Pitt shared Oprah Winfrey back in 2004.
“I believe it lifts your soul and influences your way of thinking.”
