The man accused of stabbing his girlfriend to death in an Irish pub in New York City was photographed during his arraignment on Wednesday.
Marcin Pieciak, 36, was arraigned in his hospital bed on April 3, two days after his arrest for manslaughter in the alleged fatal stabbing of Sarah McNally, 41, at The Ceili House in Queens.
He was remanded in custody and will appear in court again on Friday.
An allegedly insane Pieciak stabbed his girlfriend McNally to death in the pub where she worked before turning the knife on himself last Saturday.
Pieciak was charged with the murder Monday, in addition to a charge of criminal possession of a weapon: the bloody knives he used to stab Mcnally in the neck.

Police rushed to the Irish bar Queens around 6.30pm on Saturday after McNally and the alleged attacker both suffered serious knife wounds
Around 6.30pm on Saturday, Pieciak allegedly stormed into the pub and attacked McNally.
When police arrived a short time later, McNally was lying on the ground, bleeding from stab wounds to her neck, while Pieciak was also bleeding from stab wounds to the neck and back.
Pieciak reportedly refused to drop the murder weapons in his hands, forcing officers to use a stun gun on him.
Both individuals were taken to NYC Health and Hospitals in Elmhurst in critical condition. McNally was reportedly dead on arrival. Pieciak appears to be recovering.
McNally, originally from Longford, Ireland, had reportedly lived in New York for ten years and was living with her boyfriend at the time of the murder.
Reports say the couple had no history of domestic violence, but the New York Daily News reported that Pieciak had previously been arrested for domestic violence.
A spokesperson for the New York Police Department said Pieciak had no prior arrests with their agency.
No motive for the stabbing has yet been discovered or reported.
