A man is accused of sexually assaulting dozens of unsuspecting women at a Melbourne nightclub during an alleged groping.
David Maria Anthony Rayan, 33, is facing more than 70 sex offenses for his alleged rampage at a Chapel Street nightclub in Melbourne's trendy inner city Prahran.
Most of Rayan's alleged victims had no idea who he was when he allegedly touched, kissed and groped them.

David Maria Anthony Rayan, 33, faces dozens of sexual abuse charges
Rayan, a former PwC IT employee, appeared in the Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Friday, where his case was adjourned until early next year.
Police claim the majority of the alleged assaults took place on September 23, when Rayan was hit with more than 20 offences.
Court documents show Rayan is accused of grabbing the buttocks of numerous women, including grabbing the genitals of some.
Over two nights in October, women alleged Rayan rubbed his penis against them, grabbed their breasts and kissed their shoulders.
One woman claimed Rayan tried to kiss her on the buttocks during an alleged attack on October 14.
Police are still trying to track down dozens of women who were allegedly touched by Rayan.
Prosecutors on Friday asked for 12 weeks to gather evidence as they sifted through a “vast amount” of video footage.
The location's CCTV footage was linked to the Chapel Street nightclub's identification scanners to help locate all the victims, the prosecutor said.
David Maria Anthony Rayan declined to comment to reporters outside the court
He said many of the victims had been identified through CCTV and contacted by police about the alleged crime.
Some were foreigners who had since returned abroad and police will contact international authorities to obtain statements from them, he said.
“A large number of these people are not Australian citizens,” the prosecutor told the court.
Magistrate Vincenzo Caltabiano agreed to give the prosecution three months to compile their evidence.
Rayan remains out on bail and will return to court on May 10.
Bombarded by reporters outside the court, Rayan refused to comment on his alleged behavior.
