It comes after Coldplay fans were moved to tears earlier this month after singer Chris pulled a fan onto the stage to pay tribute to his late friend.
The Paradise singer, who is currently in the middle of his band’s Music Of The Sphere world tour, made sure the first of his two nights in Cardiff was one to remember.
Halfway through his set, the musician noticed a man in the crowd holding up a banner asking to join the singer in singing in honor of his deceased friend.
The sign read, “Play Everglow with me for my best friend in heaven.”
A concertgoer was able to catch the moment on camera when the man, named Salir, joined Chris on stage behind his piano for a rendition of the band’s song.

In the clip, Chris, donning a tie-dyed T-shirt, asked, referring to the sign, “When did he die?”
Salir then informed the singer that it had only been a month since he lost his friend.
Reacting to the sad news, Chris said, “Last month. Okay dude. S**t.
“Well, we’re going to sing this to him together, okay?”
As the pair prepared to begin the song, the stadium can be seen erupting in cheers, with Salir nodding in delight.
Just before the start, Chris joked: ‘The song Everglow from Coldplay? Just to be clear.’
Salir can then be seen laughing as he waves to the crowd, before the lights dim and Chris begins to sing.
Chris then thanked him for coming, adding, “Right now you’re representing everyone else.”
Chris pulled him in for a hug and added, “This is how I feel about the audience.
‘I’m going to hear you sing. If I think you’re good enough, I’ll move the mic closer to you, and if I think you’re awful, we’ll give you a very polite smile and keep the mic that way.’
The clip then cuts to the middle of the song where the pair can be seen singing, with Salir placing his hand on his chest and closing his eyes.
He then raises his hand and calls his friend as Chris pushes the microphone closer to him.
