A photographer calls out dads for ruining family photos with their “bad attitude,” saying she’d rather shoot a screaming kid than a “pouting” dad.

Hannah, who is known on TikTok as @hannahholpay, expressed her frustration having to deal with uncooperative men after user @lukesmom21 shared a video of herself crying in her car after her own disastrous family photos.

“My son didn’t sleep well last night so he had a seizure all the time. And my husband ruined things because he had to play Xbox,” the mother wrote in caption on the screen. “I felt ugly all the time. I don’t even know if she has any good photos.’

Hannah didn’t hesitate in her response, saying that this is something she regularly deals with as a photographer.

The photographer shared the rant in response to a mom whose husband ruined their family photos because he wanted to play Xbox

“I can’t tell you how many guys show up for photo shoots because they have to be there,” she said. “This is so frustrating because nine times out of ten it’s the fathers and their bad attitudes that hold us back.”

Hannah explained that disgruntled dads end up making the shoot longer because she frowns on every shot and she has to keep shooting until she finds a “half-decent one.”

“If you guys would stop pouting like literal kids because you have to take pictures with your wife and family, my job could be done so much faster,” she lamented.

The photographer, who is also a wife and mother, noted that it drives her “insane” to hear men complain about posing for photos when they are the reason their wife had to book the shoot in the first place.

She pointed out that moms spend hundreds of dollars creating these “memories” for their kids and their partners can’t be bothered to smile nicely

“I know this mom booked this shoot because her husband never takes pictures of her and never takes pictures of her and her children,” she explains.

“So the mother feels guilty looking back at all these pictures, realizing she’s not in any of them, realizing that one day she’s going to die and there won’t be any good pictures of her and her kids to go back to.” to look.’

“You’re here complaining because you have half an hour to an hour to take a picture with the family you took,” she said. ‘To grow up!

“I’d rather shoot a million times for kids who are screaming and crying because they didn’t sleep well the night before than doing a photo shoot with a guy who has that attitude,” she said. concluded.

Hannah’s video struck a chord with many moms and photographers who could recognize her frustration.

“I’ve been a photographer for 22 years now and I have to admit that the dads often ruin a photo over the years,” one wrote.

“You articulate everything I feel about men and photo shoots,” another agreed, while another shared, “PREACH GIRL. I’m also a photographer and I can’t keep up with this.’

A few women also agreed to say that the men who refused to have their picture taken with them are now their exes.

“I don’t have any family photos from before the divorce because ‘he didn’t feel like it,'” one mother explained. “So I make it a point to get rid of them now after the divorce because they make me happy.”
