Phoenix Suns superstar Devin Booker can return against the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday after missing five weeks with a groin strain while the team is tied up with several different trade goals.

Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker has been sidelined for five weeks with a groin injury but could soon return on Tuesday against the Brooklyn Nets according to ESPN.

Booker has reportedly been ramping up the intensity of his on-court workouts and is expected to travel with the team since the start of a five-game road trip beginning Friday in Boston.

Heading into Wednesday’s matchup against the Atlanta Hawks, the Suns have an 8-10 record during the 18-game stretch without Booker.

Before he was injured, Booker was offering 27.1 points per game, 5.6 assists and 4.6 rebounds per game, though he has missed a total of 23 games so far this season due to a combination of hamstring strains and the groin.

Booker hinted at his return on social media on Wednesday when he tweeted ‘Roundin 3rd’ hinting that he was almost ready to return.

They have also been linked with Toronto Raptors point guard Fred Van Fleet, whom the team reportedly views as a long-term replacement for Chris Paul, who has played below his normal level of efficiency this season.

Phoenix has also been linked to the hottest player on the trade market this year in OJ Anunoby.

The Suns have been linked to multiple trade rumors, with most of the talk centering around Jae Crowder and OG Anunoby.
