Phoebe Waller-Bridge looks elegant in a black gown at Indiana Jones after-party

Phoebe Waller-Bridge attended the Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny after-party at the 76th Cannes Film Festival on Thursday night.

The actress, 37, looked elegant in a black silk dress she wore with matching opera gloves as she increased her height with strappy heels.

Phoebe, who plays Indiana’s goddaughter Helena Shaw in the upcoming blockbuster, attended the premiere earlier in the evening.

She wore her dark brown locks in a chic bob and flawlessly applied full make-up to emphasize her natural beauty.

The premiere proved to be the hottest ticket to this year’s festival, with a slew of glamorous beauties, including Karlie Kloss and Gemma Chan, also in attendance.

Harrison Ford will reprise his role as the titular hero for the final time in the fifth Indiana Jones film, having first taken on the iconic character in 1984’s Raiders Of The Lost Ark.

The movie, which comes out June 30, also stars Mads Mikkelsen as Jurgen Voller, an ex-Nazi now working for NASA and directed by James Mangold.

Harrison has already left the franchise, taking over the role of Thunderbolt Ross from the late William Hurt in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is set in the year 1969, after Ford’s Indiana Jones against the background of the American space race.

The protagonist is said to be “uncomfortable” about the US government enlisting former Nazis in their race to take the Russians to the moon.

Other newcomers include Antonio Banderas as Indy’s friend Renaldo, Thomas Kretschmann as Colonel Weber, Toby Jones as Basil Shaw, and Boyd Holbrook as Klaber.

Phoebe plays Indiana Jones’ goddaughter Helena Shaw in the film, with filmmakers describing the character as “smooth” and “charming.”

“She’s a mystery and a wonder,” Phoebe, who also stars in the film alongside Antonio Banderas, told Empire about her character.

“Making the movie was everything I had hoped for, with the chance to work on my own stunts and action sequences,” she added.

“If the script said throw yourself on the back of a vehicle, I threw myself on the back of a vehicle!”

The upcoming action movie will be released on June 30 and will be the last Indiana Jones film.

“This is the last movie in the series and this is the last time I play the character. I expect it will be the last time he appears in a movie,” Harrison himself recently confirmed in an interview with Total Film.

In November, it was reported that Disney Plus was in the early stages of developing an Indiana Jones TV series, though Harrison insisted he was not involved in that either.

He said he “will not be involved in that, if it comes to fruition,” adding that he is quite excited for fans to see the latest Indy adventure.

“I had been ambitious to make this movie for 10 years, and there finally came a time when we all committed to it,” the actor admitted.

“It was a joyous moment for me. I think it’s a rare situation I find myself in.”

‘I have been able to deliver beautiful films developed by Steven [Spielberg] and George [Lucas] over a period of 40 years, and to end it not with a whimper, but with a bang, has been my greatest ambition for this excursion,” he continued.
