Phoebe Dyvenor looked sensational in a plunging black mini dress in a striking photoshoot on Tuesday.

The actress, 28, appeared on the cover of ELLE’s October 2023 issuewhere she discussed her short-lived romance with Pete Davidson, as well as the pressures of working in a male-dominated industry, ahead of her upcoming new film Fair Play.

Elsewhere, she reflected on the “whirlwind” success she experienced after starring in Bridgerton, and how it motivated her to work on productions that “start conversations.”

While talking about her relationship with Pete — who would go on to date Kim Kardashian, Emily Ratajkowski and Chase Sui Wonders after her — Phoebe admitted that she initially “thought no one would care” about her relationship with the former comedian from Saturday Night Live. , 29, although she said she was “naive” to think so.

Posing during the accompanying shoot, Phoebe showed off a range of vintage-inspired looks, from a semi-sheer cape dress to a sheer taffeta dress.

She channeled the glamor of Old Hollywood with her hair styled in soft waves and a muted pink lipstick.

While talking about her relationship with Pete, Phoebe spoke of her surprise at the public interest in the couple, adding that she was “just a young woman and dating and somehow that sparks a conversation.” ‘

She noted some of the “hard lessons” she learned from this experience.

‘You realize, “Oh, I can’t live my life the way I used to. I have to keep my cards a little closer to my chest,” she said. “For example, there was a time when I posted everything on my Instagram, and now I’m very careful about what I put out into the world.”

She added that she found it frustrating that fans were making up “whatever story they wanted” based on photos of her and Pete, even though she knew what really happened between the couple.

Phoebe also shared that because she was a woman in the entertainment industry, her “anxiety increases” as she is constantly exposed to other people’s opinions of her and her romantic relationships.

The actress’s latest film, Fair Play, will be released on Netflix on October 6, with Phoebe admitting she never expected to achieve such success.

Looking back on Bridgerton, she explained, “I was really naive. I don’t think there was a time in my life as an actress where fame was on my mind.

‘My only goal was to work as an actress and not have to have another job. And so I just didn’t expect it to change my world in the way that it did.”

She plays main character Emily in the upcoming erotic thriller and admitted that her years in the entertainment industry were the preparation she needed to understand what it could be like for a woman working at a hedge fund firm.

“I felt like I knew enough about working in a male-dominated environment,” Phoebe revealed.

“There’s an extra pressure being a woman in this industry, but I also think it motivates me to work on things like Fair Play and feel like, oh, I can have a say in moving the needle – a very small , very small to say, but we use those things to our advantage when we can.”

However, Fair Play won’t be Phoebe’s first experience when it comes to filming raunchy scenes for TV.

The VERY spicy drama first focused on the challenging sex lives of Simon Bassett (Regé-Jean Page) and Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor), all narrated by Lady Whistledown whose identity was eventually revealed to viewers in a cliffhanger final scene.

Season two set pulses racing thanks to the slow burn of Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) and Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley)’s epic romance between enemies and lovers.
