Phoebe Bridgers was supported by her rumored new boyfriend Bo Burnham as she headed to the airport on Friday, a week after announcing her father’s death.

The 28-year-old singer kept a low profile in a black hoodie, jeans and boots as she made her way through LAX with Bo following close behind.

Bridgers is rumored to be dating the comedian, 32, after splitting with boyfriend Paul Mescal last month.

The Promising Young Woman actor, dressed in a black hoodie, pants, and cap, trailed behind Phoebe with a duffel bag slung across his body.

At one point, he placed a comforting hand on her back as they made their way through the transportation hub before finally going through security.

Their latest sighting together comes after recent reports that they have been spotted ‘kissing’ and ‘smooching’ in Los Angeles, following her shock split from Paul Mescal, according to the Deux U podcast.

Last week, Bridgers and Burnham posed for a bizarre photo together, which showed her kissing Matthew Healy as he stood behind them with his eyes closed.

Bridgers and Mescal, known for his starring role on Normal People, sparked engagement rumors earlier this year before recently calling it quits.

They first made their relationship official on Instagram last December, with a much-loved image of the two.

Meanwhile, Bridgers announced her father’s death earlier this month on Instagram.

The singer shared the news in an Instagram post by sharing a photo of herself as a younger listening to music with her father by her side.

Phoebe captioned the snap ‘rest in peace daddy’ and did not share any further information about her father or his passing.

In a previous interview with G.Q.the star revealed that they had a complicated relationship.

Phoebe’s parents divorced when she was 20 and she had claimed that her carpenter father had drug problems and had also been abusive when she was younger.

She wrote her song Kyoto about him and discussed the meaning of its lyrics in an interview with NPR in 2020, saying her father was “emotionally unavailable, but he was very present in a weird way.”

Phoebe added that the song represents her release from the anger she felt, saying, “It’s nice to not feel emotionally trapped all the time with things you bring into your life.”

“I think I was angry for a long time, and… the song is basically about not being angry anymore.”
