On Friday morning, she tweeted, “Just watched the latest #TedLasso with a cup of tea in bed. Tears roll down my cheeks but such a smile in my heart. What a show, what a cast, what a story.’
Her response was notably different from the tweet she posted last month, referring to the affair scandal that had engulfed Phil and ITV’s This Morning.
Hours after Phil revealed his affair with a younger colleague, Fern wrote, “Unexpected calls from old friends are so sweet. Just had the best catch up with @EamonnHolmes.
“I think we’ve known each other since the ’80s, when we were babies. Shoot the wind.’
