Phillip Schofield appeared to be in high spirits as he shared a laugh with his daughter Molly and male friend Scott Brown during a lunch in London, while still wearing his wedding ring.

In May last year, Phillip admitted he had been in a relationship with a much younger man he had worked with on This Morning, and that he had later lied about it.

He described their romance as “ill-advised, but not illegal,” explaining that it took place during their nearly 30-year marriage.

Phillip resigned from both This Morning and ITV, saying he was “deeply sorry” that Steph had been unfaithful.

At the time, it was reported that Steph was “devastated” by the revelation and angry that her husband had lied to her.

However, it later emerged that she chose not to file for divorce because she didn’t want him to “sink even deeper” than he already has, and despite everything, “the love is still very much there.”
