Philadelphia sports radio legend is banned from MLB stadium for giving female employee ‘an unwanted kiss’ – but will REMAIN on air

  • Howard Eskin has been a regular on Philly sports talk radio since the 1980s
  • He was with Jason Kelce at the Eagles legend’s charity fundraiser last week

Howard Eskin, a legendary Philadelphia sports radio host, has been banned from the Phillies’ stadium after making unwanted advances toward a female employee.

Eskin, 73, was accused of giving an unnamed Aramark employee an “unwanted kiss” in May, prompting an investigation that has now led to his suspension.

The Philadelphia researcher report that the incident occurred before a game in the CP Rankin Club, an exclusive seating area behind home plate.

Eskin allegedly tried to kiss the woman as she backed away, and she subsequently filed a complaint with management.

Surprisingly, Eskin is still expected to be heard on the radio and there are no plans to pull his radio show from the schedule, despite the fact he will be out of the stadium for the rest of the season.

In a statement, Aramark confirmed to the media that one of its employees “had been the victim of an unwanted advance by an Audacy employee.”

Eskin did not immediately respond to requests for comment Tuesday.

The Phillies also released a statement saying, “We have been working with our partners at Audacy and Aramark on their investigations. We support Audacy’s decision to suspend Howard Eskin from Citizens Bank Park.”

Eskin has hosted a sports radio show in the Philadelphia area since 1986 and became known in the 1990s for his statements in which he called listeners either an “idiot” or a “genius,” depending on whether he agreed with their opinion.

He is a reporter for the Eagles and regularly broadcasts Phillies games as part of his role with WIP.

Just last week, Eskin was in Sea Isle City with Jason Kelce to support the former player’s Beach Bash fundraiser.

Eskin hosts a two-hour radio show on Saturday mornings and that is expected to continue as usual, although the Inquirer reports he will be absent next week due to an unrelated matter.

In recent days, everything has been going on as normal, with Eskin appearing on the radio on Tuesday morning as part of a segment of the lunchtime show.
