Philadelphia police searching for two men who robbed two nail salons hours apart, shooting a worker while he was disguised in women’s Islamic clothing

Two nail salons in Philadelphia were robbed at gunpoint three hours apart by two men wearing Muslim women’s clothing.

The unknown men first went to Happy Family Nail Salon and Spa at 4.20pm and then to Nails In The City on September 23 at 7.30pm.

One robber was captured on camera wearing an orange niqab (face covering) and an animal print abaya. The other wore the same outfit, but in purple.

Police footage shows the first man entering the Happy Family Nail Salon and Spa and threatening the employees at gunpoint, telling them to get on the floor.

The unidentified men first went to Happy Family Nail Salon and Spa at 4:30 p.m. and then to Nails In The City on September 23 at 7:30 p.m.

The employees later told Fox29 that they were forced into the back room while their money and wallets were stolen

The video then shows the pair arriving at Nails In The City three hours later with an orange bag in hand

According to police, a 43-year-old woman was also shot in the leg and foot as she chased the thieves at the second location

A minute later, the other man runs into the spa and starts rummaging through the staff’s wallets. According to police, the men stole all their wallets, IDs and cash from the cash register.

The employees said this later Fox29 that they were forced into the back room while their money and wallets were stolen.

The video then shows the pair arriving at Nails In The City three hours later with an orange bag in hand. They repeat the whole routine and empty the cash register again at gunpoint.

Police say a 43-year-old woman was also shot in the leg and foot as she chased the thieves at the second location.

Both owners told the station the next day: ‘Please stop it. We work hard to get money’

The owner of Nails In The City told the station: ‘One man, come get all the money. After they get the money, they shoot one bullet in the wall.”

The unidentified woman was taken to a local hospital and is now in a stable condition.

Both owners told the station the next day: ‘Please stop it. We work hard to get money.’

Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner told reporters during a news conference on Monday that both nail salon robberies are under active investigation.

None of the suspects have been arrested and police are currently looking for tips and information.
