Phil Taylor has revealed he would be open to mentoring Luke Littler following the teenage darts sensation’s stunning rise.
Littler burst onto the darts scene with a stunning run to the World Cup finals at the start of the year as a 16-year-old.
‘The Nuke’ was defeated in the final by Luke Humphries, but has since won the Bahrain Masters and the Belgian Darts Open.
Taylor, the record 16-time world champion, said he would be open to working with Littler but revealed the teenager would have to give up his PlayStation.
“I couldn’t do it the way most people do it, I’d have to roll up my sleeves,” Taylor said Online darts.

“Everything would be ready for you and I would knock on your door at ten in the morning.
“Luke wouldn’t play on his PlayStation and I could improve Luke 100 percent without any problem.
“I say 100 percent, if he’s in shape, I can’t make him better.”
Taylor had previously coached Adrian Lewis, who claimed the world title twice.
The 63-year-old has also admitted he was impressed by Littler’s attitude after he appeared on the scene.
“I like his attitude towards the game and I like that he has a bit of a needle when he gets beat,” Taylor said.

Littler claimed a first win of the Premier League Darts season in Belfast last week, with the 17-year-old moving up to second place in the overall standings.
