The Premier League referees have admitted they made a huge mistake after Brighton were denied a penalty in their defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.
PGMOL chief Howard Webb has acknowledged that Brighton should have been awarded a penalty when Kaoru Mitoma was brought down by Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in the second half.
Cristian Stellini’s side secured their first win since the departure of Antonio Conte thanks to a late strike from Harry Kane that secured a 2-1 home win.
