This is the moment PGA Tour star Tom Kim had to avoid a two-shot penalty on the final day of this year’s Genesis Invitational.
Kim, a three-time winner on the PGA Tour, was scheduled to begin his final round at 11 a.m. ET, but was running late to his first tee a few minutes earlier.
Television cameras captured the South Korean hilariously running through practice areas at the Riviera Golf Course in a desperate bid to make his 11am slot, which he did by the skin of his teeth.
Had he missed his starting time by no more than five minutes, Kim would have been given a two-shot penalty to start the day in California.

Arriving more than five minutes late will result in an automatic disqualification from the competition.
The PGA Tour recently saw a player miss his tee time by more than five minutes, while American star Lucas Glover was still in his hotel room as he was due to start the WM Phoenix Open after misreading a text.
Glover withdrew from the tournament and was eventually replaced in the field.
Although he didn’t suffer the same fate after arriving at the first tee just in time, Kim continued to par a simple par-five opening hole.
As things stand, the 21-year-old is currently 25th at five under after going two under in the last round.
American Luke List is leading at the time of writing at 16 under through seven holes of his final round.
Compatriots Patrick Cantlay and Will Zalatoris follow him in the rankings at 14 and 13 under respectively.
