PGA Tour golfer Kevin Kisner hilariously failed to hit a trick shot on video and ended up hitting a college golfer in the back of the head.

Kisner attempted to hit a flop shot over the head of Ashton Gaulin, who is currently a junior golfer for Saginaw Valley State.

“I have complete confidence,” Gaulin said at the beginning of the video on his Instagram.

Moments later, the four-time PGA Tour winner attempted the shot, but sent the ball straight into the back of Gaulin’s head from close range.

“We had two hours without an injury and now I took the influencer out with a concussion,” Kisner said before giving Ashton a hug.

Fortunately, Gaulin was not injured and he did have to deal with the wound on the back of his head, the size of a golf ball.

While Kisner may not have a future in the trick-shot business if he ultimately chooses to retire, he has recently shown some ability in the broadcast booth.

Kisner largely avoided the common pitfall of golfers switching to broadcasting by not saying anything too negative about their peers.

But during a moment of commentary, Jordan Spieth had missed a short putt before the microphones heard him say, “Hill to the right, grain and wind to the left….”

Kisner said quickly, “It’s a yard Jordan, hit him in the button.”
